What's in the dark? is a role playing game based on the tv show supernatural. if your interested or need help with the rules of the game contact me at emmashortt_witd@yahoo.com. here's a basic overview of how it works (this will be posted several other places on the site)
1. go to the "start hunting" page of the site and fill it out. give me your first name, your e-mail address, and a list of dates and times that you have access to a computer for 30 minutes to an hour. it would also help to provide how long you can be on the computer.
2. i'll respond to you within a day or so with a date and time selected from your list. i'll also give you information on the hunt like what your hunting and who your hunting with.
3. you will use the "hunt" page of the site to communicate with each other. you will have to login to the shoutbox in order to do the hunt. if you need to send picture, send the other hunters a URL for the picture (simply add it to your message on the shoutbox).
4. you will exchange information such as what exactly the creature is and how to kill it.
5. i will give you a time limit based on what your hunting to exchange the information needed to finish the hunt. this includes info on where you are, how to get around the problem provided such as cops or other hunters, what your hunting and how to kill it.
6. when the time is up, i'll post a message on the shoutbox letting you know and you must send me a list of the info you have found. if you finish before the time is up, send it to me as soon as you finish.
7. if you finish the entire hunt before time is up, you get one point. once you reach 5 points, your status as a hunter will go up by one level. so far there are 7 levels. for every five points you earn, you gain another level. as your level improves, you begin to earn more freedom on the site. once you reach level five, you will even be able to conduct your own hunts. also as you hunt you will earn respect among other hunters. doing so earns you roadhouse points (yes i know the roadhouse burned down). every time you gain a level, you earn a certain amount of roadhouse points (see below). you can use these points in your hunts. simply write in the shoutbox how many roadhouse points you would like to give me and based on that number i will help you with your hunt. though you do want to save your points, you won't get very far if you're cheap about it.

1. ammature- 0 roadhouse points
2. learning the ropes- 5 roadhouse points
3. apprentice hunter- 10 roadhouse points
4. ghostbuster- 20 roadhouse points
5. demon tracker- 50 roadhouse points
6. vampire hunter- 75 roadhouse points
7. hunter of all evil- 100 roadhouse points.
